Designs, applies, and optimizes manufacturing processes from prototype through full production for precision aerospace, defense, energy, and biomedical assemblies. Responsibilities include prototype-to-LRIP transition, root-cause analysis, yield and cost improvement, process and supplier development, technical documentation, and regulatory or military contract support. The role requires hands-on mechanical and analytical engineering in a fast-paced production environment.

Develops, optimizes, and documents precision manufacturing processes for aerospace, defense, and medical-device products. Performs root-cause analysis, data collection, design of experiments, process performance analysis, cost estimation, and corrective actions to improve first-pass yield and reduce waste. Collaborates with manufacturing, quality, production, and product development teams to transition prototypes into low-rate initial production while meeting customer, FDA, military, quality, and safety requirements.
