Teams at Pace Academy

Provides short-term classroom instruction for Pre-First through fifth-grade students in the absence of regular teachers. Follows lesson plans, manages classrooms, promotes learning, maintains a positive and safe environment, supervises students, collaborates with colleagues and parents, protects confidential information, and uses available technology appropriately. Assignments are primarily short-term, with longer-term substitute opportunities possible.

Provides instruction and classroom supervision for middle school students when regular teachers are absent. Follows lesson plans, maintains a positive and orderly learning environment, manages student conduct, ensures safety and confidentiality, uses available classroom technology, performs assigned supervisory duties, and collaborates with school staff and parents. Must be flexible, available on short notice, and comfortable working with adolescents.

Provides instruction and classroom supervision for upper school students when regular teachers are absent. Follows lesson plans, maintains a positive and safe learning environment, manages student conduct, supervises assigned duties, uses available technology, protects confidential information, and communicates concerns to administrators and teachers. Applicants need a bachelor’s degree, flexibility, availability on short notice, and a strong interest in working with adolescents. Teacher preparation and prior middle or high school teaching experience are preferred.
