Lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Oyster’s Employer of Record product across onboarding, payroll, benefits, compliance, and offboarding. Manage and develop a multi-layered product organization, prioritize complex initiatives, and partner with Engineering, Design, Legal, Finance, and Operations. Drive AI-powered automation, scalable workflows, measurable business outcomes, and product quality across a regulated global employment platform.

Guide customers and team members through standard, complex, and bulk employment offboarding processes. Manage sensitive cases, escalations, service-level agreements, customer satisfaction metrics, data accuracy, and cross-functional coordination with HR, finance, product, legal, and support teams. Improve playbooks and workflows, contribute to knowledge resources, and support peer learning while maintaining empathy, organization, and operational efficiency in a fully remote environment.

Runs the end-to-end Portuguese payroll cycle, including employee data updates, payroll validations, statutory filings, tax and social security processes, reconciliations, reporting, audits, and client payroll tickets. Maintains payroll system procedures, tests legislative updates, supports GDPR and pay transparency obligations, documents SOPs, and escalates issues appropriately. Requires careful, compliant processing and collaboration in an asynchronous remote environment.
