Leads experimental system integration for quantum computing testbeds, combining quantum processors, cryogenics, control electronics, firmware, HPC, and real-time decoding. Owns system architecture, requirements, verification, validation, technology transfer, operational improvement, technical roadmaps, and complex research project delivery. Builds and develops a technical team, coordinates multidisciplinary programs, supports external collaborations, and translates research objectives into reliable, high-performance experimental platforms.

Leads OQC’s quantum processor design and characterization strategy, setting multi-year research roadmaps and managing multidisciplinary teams across device theory, numerical modeling, hardware co-design, and experimental validation. The role oversees processor development from theory through prototyping, measurement, and validation; aligns architecture with control hardware, software, and product requirements; manages budgets and investments; develops technical leaders; and represents OQC to executives, partners, and the global quantum research community.

Leads OQC’s research software, logical compilation, and systems integration teams in Spain. Sets technical direction, shapes architectures, translates scientific challenges into software capabilities, and guides research tooling from experimentation to production. Builds a high-performing organization, develops technical leaders, partners with research and engineering groups, and integrates quantum computing systems with HPC environments, third-party platforms, and community tools.
