Create and maintain technical, user, safety, regulatory, and quality documentation for nanopore sequencing devices. Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and Commercial teams in a controlled, change-managed environment. Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant, customer-focused, and aligned with product releases and audits. Support usability testing, documentation process improvements, and content management activities.

Perform manual and automated testing of EPI2ME bioinformatics workflows (biopharma/clinical), write and execute test plans, document verification for SaMD compliance (IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971), generate validation/verification reports and metrics, maintain traceability matrices, collaborate with developers and QA, and support risk-management across the SaMD lifecycle.

Perform laboratory development, characterisation, troubleshooting and performance improvement of DNA/RNA sample-preparation workflows and biomolecular components. Develop biochemical, biophysical, sequencing and chromatography-based assays, perform protein/DNA complex work and purification, run nanopore single-molecule assays, analyse data and report findings across projects.
