Staff Backend Engineer responsible for the architectural vision, long-term roadmap, and technical health of large-scale backend services. Leads cross-team system design and delivery, resolves complex technical challenges, promotes engineering excellence, mentors senior engineers, conducts technical interviews, and drives adoption of cloud-native technologies, AI-assisted development, and scalable architectural practices.

Owns Oviva’s long-term infrastructure and platform strategy, architecture, reliability, security, compliance, and operational excellence. Leads container platforms, delivery pipelines, observability, service identity, cloud and infrastructure vendor relationships, cost efficiency, and self-service engineering capabilities. Provides strategic counsel to leadership, mentors senior engineers, manages technical risk, establishes engineering standards, and drives automation and AI-enabled productivity improvements in a regulated healthcare environment.
