Create and publish video content for an AI computer vision product launch. Responsibilities include operating AI cameras, building inspection applications, filming and editing daily videos, creating AI-generated short-form clips, managing a social or community channel, launching Discord, tracking engagement and leads, and identifying content for paid promotion. The role is onsite in San Francisco with limited remote editing and may lead to full-time employment.

Hands-on machine vision applications engineer responsible for lab testing, camera and optical setup, proof-of-concept builds, technical reporting, technology evaluation, customer-site troubleshooting, and deployment support. The role also includes image collection, labeling, model training, model evaluation, camera calibration, hardware evaluation, and building internal test resources. Candidates need machine vision fundamentals, AI vision familiarity, troubleshooting ability, and comfort working with hardware, industrial automation, and manufacturing customers.

Deploy and commission AI vision-inspection systems on manufacturing lines. Configure camera inspection recipes, troubleshoot cameras and industrial networks, and integrate systems with PLCs, HMIs, and dashboards using Node-RED, I/O, EtherNet/IP, and Profinet. Support customers on-site through training, issue resolution, and deployment documentation while developing greater ownership through structured training and mentorship.
