Supports OSB’s development and communications team by creating, scheduling, and monitoring social media content across multiple platforms. Responsibilities include developing social media strategies, engaging with followers, applying accessibility best practices, capturing event photos and videos, analyzing metrics, collaborating on mission-focused storytelling, and assisting with marketing and communications projects.

Provide one-on-one direct support to a student with deafblindness across the instructional day per the IEP. Assist the classroom teacher with academic, personal care, lunch, PE, aquatic support, bus duty, behavior plan implementation, and team collaboration. Participate in meetings and trainings and learn basic Braille and Braille machinery.

Provide school-based nursing care for students with visual impairments and additional disabilities: assess health needs, administer medications, perform specialized procedures (catheterization, tube feeding, tracheostomy care), maintain records, conduct screenings, counsel families and staff, liaise with medical community, and ensure compliance with Pennsylvania school health guidelines.

Provide functional behavior assessments and develop positive behavior support plans for students with visual impairments and additional disabilities. Train and coach staff, collaborate with IEP teams and families, monitor data for treatment effectiveness, ensure safety and compliance, and obtain/maintain relevant trainer certifications.

Support classroom teacher in instructional and non-instructional activities per student IEPs. Assist with lesson implementation, data collection, behavior and therapy protocols, personal care (toileting, feeding), lunchtime and special classes, bus duty, classroom prep, and trainings. Maintain confidentiality and follow school policies; remain engaged during student contact times.
