Develops manufacturing methods, processes, tooling, jigs, and fixtures for new and existing products. Creates production documentation, process specifications, layouts, BOMs, and engineering change notices. Supports production, machine-shop fabrication, equipment programming, controller-box debugging, and new-product implementation. Coordinates multiple projects, vendors, customers, and internal teams; estimates tooling costs, manages schedules, trains production staff, supervises technical support personnel, and participates in material review activities.

Design and develop ruggedized analog and digital electronics from concept through production. Responsibilities include circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware, RF/EMC testing, component selection, test-fixture design, production support, technical sales support, and documentation (schematics, BOMs, ECNs). Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and sales teams and support ongoing products and test equipment.

Supervise the tool room and press support for stamping production: build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot progressive dies; schedule tryouts; train apprentices; ensure tooling performance, preventative maintenance, die changeovers, quality inspection to specs, and tooling cost quoting.
