Provide direct patient care and support to nursing staff on a medical-surgical unit. Assist with activities of daily living, vitals, intake/output, specimen collection, basic nonsterile treatments, patient transfers, and documentation. Maintain patient safety, follow infection control procedures, and report observations to nurses. Participate in unit training, competencies, and required health/immunization programs.

Provides direct nursing care to skilled nursing residents under RN supervision. Responsibilities include administering medications, completing treatments, monitoring and reporting health changes, documenting care, coordinating unit operations, directing CNAs, assisting with admissions and discharges, educating residents and families, supporting physician rounds, and maintaining safe equipment and resident environments. The role requires an approved LPN program, current New York State LPN licensure, and preferably CPR, psychopharmacology, emergency IV training, and six months to one year of similar experience.

Supports medical practice operations by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, checking patients in and out, updating records, collecting payments, handling calls and correspondence, obtaining medical records, preparing reports, coordinating paperwork, and assisting leadership. Provides courteous patient service while maintaining confidentiality and supporting meetings, committees, training, and assigned projects.
