Provides orthopedic patient care, including examinations, medical histories, treatment planning, diagnostic interpretation, patient education, preoperative and postoperative care, procedures, and intraoperative support. Collaborates with orthopedic physicians and care teams while maintaining accurate records and practice compliance. Candidates must complete an accredited PA or NP program, hold Virginia licensure and board certification, maintain BLS certification, and communicate effectively. Orthopedic experience is preferred, though new graduates may apply.

Coordinates durable medical equipment services in clinical offices, including measuring and fitting orthoses, educating patients on proper use, explaining financial responsibilities, managing inventory, and supporting billing and preauthorization workflows. Collaborates with providers, clinical teams, managers, and DME staff to ensure accurate equipment delivery, patient understanding, compliance with policies, and quality care. Assists with staff training and assigned department projects.

Performs diagnostic X-ray examinations in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Prepares and positions patients, operates radiographic and C-arm equipment, reviews images for quality and accuracy, follows radiation safety protocols, maintains imaging rooms and equipment, and collaborates with physicians and clinical staff to provide patient-centered care.
