Provides orthopedic clinical and durable medical equipment support, including verifying prescriptions, selecting and fitting braces, educating patients, applying and removing casts and splints, maintaining documentation, handling billing and authorizations, and managing inventory. Also supports general medical office operations such as rooming, scheduling, checkout, and collections. Requires at least one year of orthopedic-related experience and casting proficiency.

Coordinates and administers clinical trials under a Principal Investigator, including patient consent, protocol compliance, data collection, adverse-event reporting, IRB submissions, quality control, and publication support. The role also guides research assistants, collaborates with hospitals and research sites, maintains scientific integrity and patient protections, and assists with select medical assistant duties while complying with HIPAA and OSHA requirements.
