Provide clinical support to orthopedic physicians including casting, splinting, DME management, inventory ordering, OSHA compliance, EMR documentation, training/mentoring staff, and managing tech-only appointments.

Assist physicians with fitting and applying braces, casts, crutches and other DME; educate patients on use and care; manage DME inventory, scheduling, documentation, insurance pre-authorizations, EHR coding, and provide patient customer service while complying with HIPAA.

Coordinate physician office and surgical scheduling, obtain patient demographics/insurance/authorizations, manage orders/tests and documentation in the EHR, supervise Assistant Coordinator, communicate with facilities and revenue cycle to resolve patient issues.
