Provides corporate legal counsel to a credit union, focusing on contract drafting, review, negotiation, and lifecycle management. Advises leadership and business teams on legal, regulatory, compliance, and operational matters; conducts legal research; manages legal requests and contract systems; supports vendor due diligence and third-party oversight; and collaborates with Risk and Compliance. The role also develops templates and process improvements, prepares legal guidance, and supports subpoenas, garnishments, levies, and related legal matters.

Leads the credit union’s fraud prevention, investigation, and Bank Secrecy Act compliance programs. Oversees suspicious activity monitoring, SAR submissions, risk assessments, fraud reporting, law-enforcement liaison activities, staff training, vendor due diligence, cybersecurity fraud monitoring, business continuity, and Board reporting. Manages related policies, controls, budgets, investigations, and compliance obligations while supervising fraud case resolution and organizational risk mitigation.

Supports, configures, tests, and enhances lending technology platforms, including loan origination, pricing, point-of-sale, and servicing systems. The role manages workflows, integrations, upgrades, system conversions, documentation, requirements gathering, UAT, regulatory changes, and troubleshooting. It partners with Lending and AI teams to improve processes through automation and AI-driven workflows, participates in software evaluations, and leads projects involving lending systems.
