Build and lead Orpex’s AI workforce platform as a former founder or CTO. The role is intentionally flexible across engineering, product, and company operations, with ownership from day one. Responsibilities include defining a first-90-day mandate, setting engineering and hiring standards, shipping core products, and partnering directly with the founder. Candidates should have founded a company, served as a startup CTO or first technical hire, shipped a credited product, or operated a service business.

First engineering hire responsible for defining the technical foundation, selecting the technology stack, and building Orpex’s AI workforce infrastructure. The role involves shipping production agent systems, owning full-stack development and deployment, engaging users, iterating on products, managing infrastructure and UI, and helping hire future engineers.

Build and operate Orpex’s agentic infrastructure, including production LLM agents, orchestration, memory, retrieval, human approval workflows, and evaluation systems. Own the full development loop from implementation and measurement through failure analysis, reliability improvements, and learning. The role ships to production immediately and may also involve infrastructure work, customer calls, and hiring.
