Lead utility-scale solar and energy storage project development, including site selection, land acquisition, permitting, interconnection, consultant and vendor management, PPA support, project budgeting, and cross-functional coordination. The role requires deep CAISO and WECC market knowledge, stakeholder management, financial model review, and oversight of projects from early development through execution. This remote position requires 50–70% travel.

The Operational Performance Engineering Lead will manage performance engineering activities, optimize renewable energy asset performance, and lead technical initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Lead production cost and nodal market modeling to evaluate basis risk, congestion, curtailment, and long-term value. Support project siting, interconnection review, revenue forecasting, due diligence, and portfolio strategy. Build price forecasts, assess market and transmission changes, coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders, and represent the company in industry forums.
