Orangewood Foundation Benefits Overview

Leads the Finance team and oversees nonprofit accounting operations, including monthly close, reconciliations, contract billing, cash flow, financial reporting, payroll review, internal controls, payments, budgeting, compliance, and audits. The Controller partners with leadership, program teams, development, and People and Culture while managing banking relationships and supporting strategic organizational objectives.

Manages institutional grant portfolios, writes and submits foundation, corporate, and government proposals, stewards funder relationships, researches prospects, tracks revenue and budgets, and supports sponsorship and major-gift materials. Supervises a Grants Coordinator and collaborates with Development, Programs, Finance, and other internal teams on applications, reporting, and relationship management. The role operates in a hybrid environment and requires strong writing, organization, partnership-building, and grant-management skills.

Lead and execute all fundraising, development, and brand-building strategy. Personally manage major donors, cultivate board and community partnerships, direct development and marketing plans, mentor teams, set multi-million-dollar revenue and expense frameworks, and ensure fiscal accountability to scale organizational impact.
