Assists station management with daily inspection station operations, remitter transactions, staffing, auditing, waiver inspections, and customer information for the Illinois Vehicle Emissions Inspection Program. Travels to other stations as needed to provide staffing support. Requires strong communication, customer service, teamwork, computer skills, and the ability to work independently in varied weather conditions.

Conduct covert audits of vehicle inspection stations throughout the Atlanta metro area. Pose as a motorist while observing station operations, inspectors, equipment, procedures, and potential fraud. Document deficiencies and findings in clear reports to support state enforcement actions. Work independently, make sound decisions, interact professionally, and maintain an undetectable undercover role. Duties require driving a company vehicle and may involve temporarily changing appearance.

Assists the Station Manager with daily vehicle emissions inspection station operations, including troubleshooting, cash handling, employee scheduling, facility opening and closing, customer and employee safety, and community relations. Assumes station manager responsibilities when needed and supports compliance with technical and financial objectives. The role requires customer service, communication, organization, computer, and cash-handling skills, along with the ability to work in physically demanding and varying weather conditions.
