Build and own backend services for a private markets investing platform. Deliver end-to-end software across design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations. Collaborate with product and engineering teams, iterate on ambiguous problems, apply distributed systems principles, and incorporate AI/LLMs for data extraction and document generation. Participate in recruiting and maintain high-quality delivery practices.

Build and own end-to-end software features for a private markets investing platform. Work across frontend (TypeScript/React/Next.js) and backend services (Python/FastAPI/AWS), contribute to design systems, testing, deployments, and product development while collaborating with product and stakeholders.

Manage quarterly NAV close and financial statements, reconciliations, valuation governance, audit and tax coordination. Support capital call/distribution processing, waterfall and carried interest calculations, performance metrics, and implement accounting policies and controls while partnering with product, engineering, and operations to automate processes and scale fund finance operations.

Own and evolve Opto's AWS infrastructure and EKS lifecycle, manage Terraform IaC at scale, support multi-account networking and data governance, partner with Security/Compliance for audit readiness, scale platform reliability, and coordinate hosted infrastructure for stakeholders.
