Plans monthly nursing staff schedules, fills staffing vacancies caused by call-offs and leaves, participates in staffing strategy meetings, completes nursing department payroll, and communicates potential liability or exposure matters to the Director of Nursing Services.

Manages facility business-office functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, billing, cash receipts, resident trust accounts, payor reconciliations, collections, vendor invoices, month-end close support, and financial reporting. Communicates with residents, families, staff, and vendors while ensuring accurate, compliant financial operations.

Manages nursing care for all residents on an assigned long-term-care unit, supervising licensed nurses and support staff. Ensures care follows resident assessments, plans, professional nursing standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. Oversees resource use, resident wellbeing, staff communication, and coordination with families, interdisciplinary teams, state surveyors, and ombudsmen.
