Provides supervised nursing care and administers authorized oral, topical, rectal, ophthalmic, and optic medications to residents. Performs CNA duties, observes and reports medication effects, documents administration or refusals, maintains accurate records, protects resident confidentiality, and responds calmly to emergencies. Requires compassionate care for older adults, teamwork, strong communication, QMA and Indiana CNA certifications, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally.

QMAs provide medications and nursing care to residents under the supervision of a community nurse, performing tasks like administering medications and monitoring resident conditions.
