Provide patient-focused ophthalmic testing and assist physicians by performing visual acuity and field testing, lensometry, refractometry, tonometry, pupil and extraocular motility assessments, diagnostic testing, eye drop instillation, and maintaining medical records. Participate in employer training and pursue JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification within 24 months.

Provide patient-facing ophthalmic testing and clinical support under supervision: vision and visual field testing, tonometry, lensometry, refractometry, pupil and motility assessments, diagnostic testing, record keeping, and assisting physicians. Participate in training and pursue JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant certification within 24 months.

Provide ophthalmic patient care under supervision: perform vision tests, tonometry, lensometry, refraction, pupil and motility assessments, diagnostic testing, instill drops, and maintain medical records. Participate in employer training aiming for JCAHPO Certified Ophthalmic Assistant within 24 months.
