Operation Smile Inc. Benefits Overview

A 3–6 month internship with Operation Smile Madagascar beginning in September 2026. Interns may work in Finance and Operations, Program and Project Management, or Monitoring and Evaluation. Responsibilities will vary by placement area and may involve financial administration, project coordination, program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.

Engages elementary through university students across Virginia by building relationships, managing student programs, coordinating events and conferences, supporting fundraisers, maintaining databases, analyzing engagement data, and communicating with students and supporters. The role includes school and community outreach, youth mentoring, grant and proposal writing, budget collaboration, field-trip coordination, and domestic and international travel.

Coordinates Operation Smile surgical and non-surgical programs across Pakistan, including patient scheduling, recruitment, transportation, hospital partnerships, volunteer credentialing, medical supply logistics, vendor coordination, reporting, and records management. Supports clinical teams, Hub and Spoke care delivery, research projects, and regional initiatives. The role requires strong organization, communication, relationship-building, English and Urdu fluency, Microsoft Office proficiency, independent work capability, and extensive travel within Pakistan.
