The Government Relations Manager researches and analyzes federal, state, and local legislation affecting food access, poverty, and equity. The role supports policy strategy, develops legislative testimony and policy materials, builds relationships with elected officials and community organizations, and advances advocacy initiatives in Illinois and Missouri. Responsibilities include data analysis, project management, public presentations, coalition collaboration, and occasional travel and after-hours events.

Lead food safety and quality assurance programs, regulatory compliance, inspections, inventory integrity, audits, traceability, recalls, and continuous improvement. Supervise and develop staff, train volunteers and employees, monitor quality metrics, investigate root causes, implement corrective actions, and partner with operations leaders to improve warehouse and food distribution processes.

Lead on-site Mobile Market operations including staff supervision, cash management and POS reconciliation, inventory planning and quality control, vehicle/appliance operation, customer service, and reporting. Ensure safe, attractive market sites, coordinate vouchers, attend leadership meetings, and support warehouse and delivery duties.
