Develop and maintain automated photonic mask-build workflows, PDK releases, parameterized cells, compact models, and physical verification infrastructure. Build CI/CD pipelines, regression suites, and automated QA for reliable mask releases. Partner with EDA vendors, process engineers, device designers, and architects to automate design workflows, investigate quality escapes, and improve manufacturing readiness.

Designs, simulates, lays out, and characterizes high-speed integrated photodetectors, including PIN, APD, and waveguided structures. Responsibilities include optical and RF modeling, custom mask layout, foundry process optimization, and electro-optic testing of devices operating beyond 200 Gbps per lane. The role requires collaboration with process integration, validation, test, customer, and manufacturing teams to transition photonic components from concept through high-volume production.

Lead definition, design, simulation, layout, and testing of photonic integrated circuits on a heterogeneous silicon–III/V platform. Map customer requirements to the platform, coordinate packaging and fabrication, define test plans, analyze data, and prioritize PDK components to deliver market-ready PIC products.
