Manage end-to-end vehicle auctions, including vehicle selection, auction preparation, competitive pricing, bid follow-up, performance monitoring, and risk analysis. Build relationships with sellers across automotive markets, provide auction strategy and pricing advice, maximize sales opportunities, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure efficient execution. The role requires automotive market knowledge, analytical and commercial skills, process orientation, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Owns OPENLANE’s commercial performance in the Netherlands, including revenue, margin, customer and employee KPIs. Leads and coaches the local team, manages forecasting, develops Dutch buyer relationships, represents local customers internally, and contributes to European commercial strategy. The role requires strong automotive or used-car marketplace expertise, Dutch and English fluency, data-driven decision-making, stakeholder management, and hands-on commercial leadership.

Own and modernize hosted and hybrid infrastructure: manage Microsoft stack, run hosted/Azure services, drive automation with Terraform and scripting, enable containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), improve CI/CD and monitoring, and ensure performance, reliability, and security.
