Provides direct nursing care to infant through geriatric patients using the nursing process. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication and blood product administration, life support, documentation, patient education, safety management, delegation, and collaboration with physicians and nursing staff. The RN also maintains confidentiality, supports performance improvement, manages complex equipment, and responds professionally to stressful situations.

Provides autonomous and collaborative anesthesia and pain care across the lifespan and varied clinical settings. Responsibilities include preanesthesia assessment, diagnostic review, informed consent, care-plan development, medication and equipment selection, anesthesia administration, monitoring, analgesia, and documentation. The role requires a master’s degree in nurse anesthesia and CRNA, AANA, BLS, PALS, ACLS, and national board certifications.

Provides psychiatric diagnosis and treatment across outpatient, inpatient, and intensive care settings. Ensures care quality, safety, and appropriateness, participates in continuing education, and travels frequently to worksites throughout St. Landry Parish.
