Leads Walletii Iraq’s fintech operations, including customer, business, and merchant onboarding; KYC/KYB activation; transaction processing; reconciliation; settlement; customer service; partner and vendor management; operational controls; process automation; reporting; business continuity; and team development. The role establishes scalable operating models, ensures regulatory adherence and service quality, coordinates cross-functional launches, manages operational risks, and drives continuous improvement across the country business.

Reviews customer profiles, KYC/CDD documentation, transactions, sanctions and screening alerts to identify financial crime risks. Conducts investigations, documents cases, supports suspicious transaction reporting, monitors regulatory developments, and prepares AML risk reports. The role also improves compliance processes, controls, monitoring systems, and automation while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.

Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend services for mobile applications. Deliver features, resolve defects, review code, enforce engineering standards, monitor production reliability, and address performance and security issues. Collaborate with frontend and QA teams in Agile ceremonies, identify delivery risks, and mentor junior and mid-level developers. Provide technical support to the local Backend chapter and promote maintainable microservices solutions.
