Design, develop, test, and deploy localization, mapping, SLAM, and state-estimation algorithms for autonomous warehouse robots. Integrate LiDAR, camera, and IMU data; improve sensor fusion and scene analysis; troubleshoot real-world robot performance; and lead subsystems from requirements through field deployment. The role includes code reviews, documentation, cross-functional hardware testing, mentoring junior engineers, and optimizing robotic software for dynamic warehouse environments.

Design, implement, deploy, and maintain motion planning and controls software for autonomous mobile robots and cobots. Develop and tune planning and control behaviors for safe operation near human workers, using simulation and physical platforms. Apply object-oriented C++ development, mathematical modeling, trajectory tracking, and classical planning algorithms. Participate in Agile development, code reviews, requirements-driven design, and end-to-end production system deployment.

The Robot Software Engineer II will design and code software for robotic systems, develop algorithms, integrate systems, and validate performance, collaborating within an Agile Scrum team.
