Provides on-call administrative and general accounting support across multiple departments. Duties include processing transactions, receipts, deposits, timesheets, invoices, and payments; preparing documents and reports; responding to inquiries; managing records; ordering supplies; protecting confidential information; and replacing office staff at various North Bay locations. The role requires short-notice availability and has no guaranteed hours.

Refurbish and repair transportation equipment using plans, sketches, manufacturer models, circuit diagrams, hand tools, and power tools. Work independently and with cross-functional production teams to meet schedules safely. Adapt to new processes, materials, equipment, and methods while following workplace health and safety procedures. The role may require varied shifts, weekend work, and outdoor work in adverse weather conditions.

Supervises electrical maintenance and repair teams in a locomotive workshop, ensuring safe, timely, cost-effective work that meets regulatory, technical, and customer standards. The role coordinates evening-shift activities, locomotive inspections, major repairs, troubleshooting, reporting, workforce training, recruitment, timesheet approval, and operational support for internal and external stakeholders. It also provides technical guidance to remote teams and monitors compliance with AAR, FRA, Transport Canada, organizational, and workplace safety requirements.
