Provides 24/7 in-house neonatology coverage in a Level II NICU at Pascack Valley Medical Center. The role involves caring for newborns, applying evidence-based medicine, and collaborating with obstetricians, pediatricians, and hospital teams to ensure safe, effective patient outcomes. The position includes 24-hour shifts, no on-call requirement, and responsibility for newborn and neonatal intensive care services.

Conduct newborn hearing screenings in a hospital setting, communicate results to parents and clinicians, provide follow-up education, and maintain screening database records. The role requires compassionate infant handling, accurate data entry, confidentiality, strong communication, and weekday, weekend, and holiday availability. Training is provided, and the position is per diem and onsite.
