Teams at Old Colony YMCA

Lead and manage aquatics programs: ensure pool safety and cleanliness, teach and test swimmers, recruit/train/mentor lifeguards and swim staff, oversee scheduling, certifications, emergency preparedness, and community outreach to promote water safety and YMCA mission.

Provide peer-based support to caregivers with open DCF cases by meeting at least twice weekly, assessing recovery needs, developing treatment plans, teaching recovery skills, building support networks, connecting to providers, and advocating in treatment, review, and court meetings. Requires local travel and driving.

Supervise and support school-age children by maintaining a safe, healthy, and constructive environment; uphold YMCA mission and code of conduct; lead daily activities, assist Site Coordinator, enforce health and safety requirements, communicate with families, and perform physical tasks as needed.
