Teams at Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency (OHFA)

Conduct administrative appeal hearings for the Section 8 HCV program: schedule hearings, review records, obtain statements, research regulations and precedents, render decisions, notify parties, maintain program documentation, manage emergency housing assistance fund, assist with utility allowance and payment standard analyses, revise program manuals, process rent reasonableness certifications, and provide customer service and staff training.

Administers HUD Section 8 Project-Based contract program including MOR inspections, HAP contract renewals, rent adjustments, compliance follow-up, program training, reporting, database and manual development, and customer service. Works with owners, tenants, HUD and finance to resolve health/safety and eligibility issues and ensures program rule compliance.
