Perform complex inspection, repair, maintenance, construction and installation of electrical and mechanical power-plant equipment. Duties include major repairs on transformers, motors, breakers, pumps and coal-handling machinery; machining, welding (ASME-level), brazing, rigging, and shop work; lead and train others; maintain safety, tools, and work areas; follow blueprints, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Develop, maintain and analyze outage and project schedules using Primavera P6. Collect progress data, produce status reports and metrics, perform schedule/cost integration (SPI/CPI), support project/outage planning and execution, conduct site/plant surveys, and provide accurate schedule information to execution teams.

Manage plant operating and capital budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, and financial reporting. Supervise budgeting, invoice verification, petty cash, and accounting records. Support capital project cost tracking, contractor invoice review, variance analysis, and ensure compliance with safety and company policies. Coordinate with plant leadership and corporate teams to deliver projects on budget and support DOE-funded modernization work.

Assist in maintaining the operation of the electrical system under supervision, ensuring reliability compliance and log management while acquiring necessary certifications.

Provide confidential administrative support to assigned staff, including correspondence, transcribing dictation, calendar and travel management, meeting organization, report preparation, mail handling, and basic supervisory/training tasks while following company policies and safety procedures.

The Controller oversees financial health by managing accounting, tax, insurance and treasury sections, ensures compliance, and leads internal teams.

Assist in supervising and operating generating units, ensuring safety and efficiency, training employees, and improving operational practices while maintaining compliance with standards.

Perform engineering assignments including planning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipment. Engage in data analysis and lead teams to improve operational efficiency.

Develop, maintain, and analyze outage and project schedules using Primavera P6. Create resource-loaded, leveled, logic-driven schedules, perform schedule maintenance and updates, collect progress data, analyze schedule and cost integration (SPI/CPI), prepare status and metrics reports, and support project/outage execution and planning activities.

Plan and schedule plant maintenance by establishing critical paths, allocating labor and materials, coordinating resources, and optimizing availability and reliability. Use CMMS daily, assist with short- and long-range maintenance and staffing plans, review and verify repair orders, support budgeting, ensure safety compliance, and supervise or recommend actions for maintenance staff.

Supervise and operate generating units, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Train employees, monitor equipment, and manage performance and safety protocols.
