Lead analytical projects using large behavioral datasets to support Ofcom’s regulatory, policy, and enforcement work. Build robust, documented processes for data ingestion, cleaning, processing, analysis, and visualization. Produce reproducible statistics and insights, manage project delivery, collaborate with internal teams and external data providers, and contribute to communications market reporting and other research activities.

Provides first-line administrative and diary support to three directors within Ofcom’s Infrastructure and Connectivity Group. Responsibilities include diary and travel management, meeting and event coordination, expense and timesheet administration, document preparation, recruitment support, secretariat duties, stakeholder communication, and organizing team activities. The role requires strong organization, judgment, confidentiality, communication, attention to detail, and flexibility. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Supports Ofcom’s supervision of regulated online services under the Online Safety Act 2023. Responsibilities include building relationships with technology firms, assessing user protections and risk assessments, gathering and analyzing information, preparing briefings and reports, supporting supervision strategies, coordinating internal stakeholders, and contributing to regulatory initiatives. The role requires policy or regulated-industry experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective planning, and relationship-building abilities.
