Oversee clinical treatment services in a residential substance use disorder program. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, ensuring evidence-based treatment and regulatory compliance, conducting quality assurance and utilization reviews, managing clinical records, providing crisis intervention, leading staff training and quality improvement, and assuming program operations when the Program Director is absent.

Provides medication oversight and administration, client triage, sick-call evaluations, withdrawal screening, patient education, and healthcare coordination in residential recovery settings. Trains staff on medication procedures, conducts regulatory quality reviews, maintains medication records and storage, coordinates medical and psychiatric appointments, monitors adherence, and participates in multidisciplinary case conferences.

Coordinates discharge planning for consumers with substance use and mental health disorders. The role assesses needs, maintains referral records, coordinates appointments, facilitates independent living workshops, assists with supportive housing applications, and connects consumers to healthcare, entitlements, benefits, recovery, mental health, and community services. The coordinator also participates in case conferences, quality improvement activities, staff meetings, and required training, with regular travel across New York City’s five boroughs.
