Odyssey Behavioral Group Benefits Overview

Manages nursing care for residents in a behavioral health residential treatment program. Conducts assessments, administers medications and injections, follows physician orders, documents care in Best Notes, coordinates pharmacy and laboratory services, supports admissions and discharges, educates clients and families, maintains medication security, and oversees infection control and a safe therapeutic environment.

Provides nursing care to adolescent clients in a behavioral healthcare treatment facility. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, medication administration, physician order coordination, laboratory specimen collection, behavioral and mental-status monitoring, documentation, medication education, and admission, transfer, and discharge support. The nurse collaborates with treatment teams to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and may cover adult residential treatment shifts.

Provides nursing care to adolescent behavioral health clients, including assessments, medication administration, physician-order coordination, laboratory collection, documentation, risk assessment, client education, and admission and discharge support. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment, secures controlled medications, coordinates pharmacy and laboratory services, and collaborates with medical and treatment teams. Requires Virginia RN licensure, behavioral healthcare experience, CPR and First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license.
