Manages a diversified investment portfolio across energy, fibre, and real estate businesses. Responsibilities include reviewing management information, liquidity management, share price production, performance oversight, value creation, strategic initiatives, refinancing, M&A, financial modeling, and stakeholder engagement. The role partners with portfolio companies and senior leaders to execute corporate finance workstreams, resolve complex issues, and improve investment performance while using AI tools to enhance productivity.

Support and implement stakeholder engagement strategies for renewable energy projects across development, construction, and operations. Develop communication plans, coordinate community consultations and local events, manage community funding programs, maintain stakeholder databases, and provide crisis communications and media relations support. Build trusted relationships with communities and stakeholders across Australia while supporting Octopus Australia’s social licence to operate.

Provide commercial, transactional, regulatory, and legal advice across renewable energy projects, including development, construction, operations, and project finance. Draft and negotiate NDAs, consultancy agreements, EPC, O&M, PPA, and related contracts. Support day-to-day legal operations, manage external counsel, assess legal risk, and advise stakeholders on infrastructure, land access, planning, environmental, construction dispute, and Australian energy market matters.
