Build and own end-to-end platform features for Octopus Energy’s low-carbon technology services, with a frontend focus. Design scalable architecture, integrate data, automate workflows, maintain accessible and performant applications, and support CI/CD, monitoring, and production reliability. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers while improving existing codebases. The role also involves evaluating AI-assisted development outputs and contributing across frontend, backend, DevOps, and infrastructure.

Leads the TechOps support team and Systems Analysts, overseeing ticket triage, incident resolution, SLAs, KPIs, SaaS vendors, renewals, and escalations. Partners with Product and Engineering to identify systemic issues and implement improvements. Maintains the internal knowledge base, develops team capability, manages cloud-based tools and integrations, and ensures service and compliance standards are maintained within a regulated financial services environment.

Provide phone-based support to electric vehicle leasing customers throughout their driver journey, from vehicle order through return. Manage updates, resolve delivery and manufacturer issues, coordinate contracting and delivery details, and proactively create a high-quality customer experience. The role requires empathy, resilience, attention to detail, effective workload management, and creative problem solving in a fast-paced hybrid environment.
