Senior Contract Closeout Specialist responsible for closing and de-obligating federal contracts (fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, T&M, labor-hour, hybrids). Track, maintain, and report aged contract backlogs; review DCAA incurred cost audit submissions and reports; apply FAR guidance during closeout processes; support acquisition/procurement activities for federal clients.

Provide independent quality assurance for CMMC Level 2 assessments, review plans/evidence/reports, maintain the C3PAO quality management system per ISO/IEC 17020:2012, verify NIST SP 800-171A procedures, identify nonconformities, track corrective actions, and support oversight and audits while preserving independence from assessment teams.

Manage de-obligation and contract closeout activities for fixed-price and cost-type contracts. Use FAR guidance to close firm-fixed, cost-reimbursement, time-and-material, labor-hour, and hybrid contracts. Track, report, and resolve aged backlog of contracts while supporting an acquisition/procurement office.
