Supervise ophthalmic technicians while continuing to provide direct patient care. Responsibilities include scheduling, staffing coordination, coaching, onboarding, workflow improvement, physician support, patient triage, ophthalmic diagnostic testing, inventory management, equipment maintenance, and compliance. The supervisor performs Level II technician duties, including manual refraction, OCT, visual fields, corneal topography, and fundus photography, while assisting with clinic operations and administrative tasks.

Supports ophthalmologists during patient exams by preparing charts and rooms, documenting interactions in real time, tracking orders and prescriptions, performing ophthalmic testing, educating patients, auditing charts, and delivering patient-focused service.

Oversee daily operations for a busy ophthalmology clinic, including staff supervision, training, HR activities, patient registration, medical records, scheduling, supplies, equipment, and patient flow. The Office Manager supports front-office functions, monitors performance, recommends process improvements, and promotes a positive patient and employee experience.
