Teams at Obsidian Security

Lead detection engineering in Taiwan by researching cloud, identity, and SaaS threats; developing threat models, detection rules, behavioral models, and production pipelines; and improving detection quality through testing, tuning, telemetry analysis, and coverage measurement. Partner with engineering, product, customer success, and global teams to deliver explainable, actionable security findings and establish scalable detection processes, standards, and team capabilities.

Own and scale customer advocacy and engagement programs, including reference networks, lifecycle touchpoints, customer stories, case studies, testimonials, and milestone announcements. Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Product Marketing, and leadership to identify customer success stories, build a roster of advocates, support references and events, and measure effects on retention, advocacy, and pipeline.

Build and lead Obsidian’s threat intelligence function by collecting and synthesizing external intelligence, assessing threats to SaaS products and corporate infrastructure, producing actionable intelligence, and defining intelligence requirements. Conduct threat hunts across cloud, SaaS, endpoint, and product environments; write detections, manage indicators, support incident investigations, contribute to purple-team exercises, and serve as customer zero by testing and improving the company’s security product.
