Prepares, portions, and serves meals; assembles trays and delivers meal carts to nursing or dining areas. Maintains food supplies using FIFO standards, disposes of refuse, and cleans and sanitizes dishes, utensils, equipment, and work areas. Follows menus, standardized recipes, food-safety procedures, departmental policies, and schedules while working cooperatively to support resident satisfaction.

Lead nursing care for residents by directing nurse aides, administering medications and treatments, implementing care plans, transcribing physician orders, documenting assessments, and coordinating shift communication. The role also includes educating support staff, maintaining infection-control and safety standards, responding to emergencies, and addressing staffing shortages. Candidates must hold an active RN or LVN license and demonstrate strong assessment, documentation, communication, organization, and emergency-response skills.
