Sets up, programs, and operates CNC milling and turning centers. Interprets blueprints and product drawings, performs shop-math calculations and measurement conversions, and machines parts to .001-inch tolerances. Uses precision measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, and machine-shop equipment while meeting production requirements. Requires independent work, communication skills, physical stamina, PPE compliance, and flexibility during equipment shutdowns or breakdowns.

Works with industrial customers to assess equipment issues, repair needs, and custom manufacturing requirements. Develops practical solutions with engineering, machining, fabrication, and field service teams; reviews drawings; prepares material, labor, machining, and fabrication estimates; manages customer relationships and sales-to-production handoffs; and identifies repeat or expanded business opportunities. The role requires time in shops, plants, and customer locations, with remote or hybrid flexibility.

Lead ISO 9001 implementation and certification, maintain quality and safety programs, perform audits and inspections, investigate incidents, drive root cause analysis and corrective actions, apply Lean/Six Sigma for continuous improvement, manage and train QA and safety teams, and report KPIs to management in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment.
