Teams at Nu Quantum

Designs and tests high-performance analogue and mixed-signal electronics for quantum networking hardware. Responsibilities include refining requirements, performing circuit calculations and simulations, selecting components, creating schematics and PCB layouts, organizing prototype manufacture, conducting hands-on laboratory testing and debugging, analyzing experimental data, maintaining design documentation, and supporting electronic systems across the company.

Develop software and firmware to control proprietary optics, electronics and lab equipment; integrate with FPGA and electronics teams; build user interfaces and automation for experiments and product demonstrators; ensure high-quality, testable code and improve workflows within an agile cross-functional team.

Lead and grow the Testbed Optics group to design, build, automate, and characterise advanced optical systems for quantum photon interfaces and networking. Provide technical leadership, mentor staff, establish best practices, collaborate cross-functionally, and drive optics roadmap and system-level optimisation.
