Teams at Nu Quantum

Develop, verify and debug FPGA RTL and embedded code for Xilinx Zynq/Ultrascale devices to support real-time quantum networking control systems. Work with ARTIQ/Sinara platforms, collaborate across hardware, software and physics teams, create verification/testbenches, debug subsystems, contribute to CI/CD automation and documentation.

Develop software and firmware to control proprietary optics, electronics and lab equipment; integrate with FPGA and electronics teams; build user interfaces and automation for experiments and product demonstrators; ensure high-quality, testable code and improve workflows within an agile cross-functional team.

Design, build and optimise low-noise optical systems and tabletop experiments to lock microcavities to stable lasers. Implement automation, align free-space and fibre optics, acquire and analyse experimental data, document procedures, and collaborate with nanofabrication, electronics, mechanical and software teams.
