Owns technical vision and systems architecture for mission-focused capabilities from concept through deployment and sustainment. Translates mission needs into technical requirements, defines integrations across applications, data platforms, and AI/ML services, and guides prototypes into secure operational systems. Leads architecture reviews, evaluates tradeoffs and risks, maintains technical artifacts and roadmaps, supports government demonstrations, and mentors multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Design, secure, and operate cloud-native AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Docker, Helm, CI/CD, and Argo CD GitOps. Implement identity, access control, Zero Trust, networking, vulnerability scanning, and security controls across deployment environments. Troubleshoot complex cloud and application issues while supporting scalable microservice and machine-learning deployments. The role requires extensive DevSecOps experience and an active TS/SCI or Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Provides technical leadership and hands-on software engineering for intelligence community data transformation and system modernization. Designs scalable Java or Python backend applications, microservices, APIs, distributed data pipelines, and cloud-native systems. Guides architecture, database strategy, security, performance, DevOps, and container orchestration across secure AWS or Azure environments. Mentors engineers, leads technical design sessions, and collaborates with government stakeholders and architects to develop technical roadmaps.
