Provides technical leadership and hands-on software engineering for intelligence community data transformation and system modernization. Designs scalable Java or Python backend applications, microservices, APIs, distributed data pipelines, and cloud-native systems. Guides architecture, database strategy, security, performance, DevOps, and container orchestration across secure AWS or Azure environments. Mentors engineers, leads technical design sessions, and collaborates with government stakeholders and architects to develop technical roadmaps.

Build and deploy computer vision and machine learning solutions from research prototypes into scalable production services. Develop MLOps pipelines for data preparation, training, validation, versioning, deployment, and monitoring. Train and optimize deep learning models, integrate them into secure cloud systems, and support national security missions. Collaborate with mission partners, engineers, and domain experts while applying containerization, DevSecOps, model governance, and inference optimization practices.

Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain scalable software systems and custom applications supporting data science and AI/ML capabilities. The role involves REST API and microservices development, cloud and container technologies, DevSecOps collaboration, software standards compliance, technology research, code reviews, unit testing, and agile delivery. Candidates will help solve complex national security and defense-related technical challenges while building robust, maintainable, and interoperable solutions.
