Manages federal award portfolios across contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants. Responsibilities include post-award financial administration, expense monitoring, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, proposal budget development, sponsor relations, compliance analysis, risk escalation, and financial metrics. The role ensures adherence to federal requirements, OMB Uniform Guidance, cost principles, and UCAR policies while supporting CPAESS leadership and documenting business processes.

Leads financial reporting, business intelligence, data modeling, and analytics support using Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning. Designs and configures reports, dashboards, data structures, and governance standards; troubleshoots applications and integrations; coordinates testing, documentation, training, and process improvements. Supervises staff and facilitates cross-functional finance working groups supporting budgeting, forecasting, sponsored awards, and financial analysis.

Manages multidisciplinary research and development projects involving infrastructure, instrumentation, scientific programs, and technical systems. Oversees scope, schedules, budgets, risks, requirements, performance metrics, deliverables, and change control. Coordinates internal teams, federal agencies, sponsors, and other stakeholders while applying predictive, agile, and hybrid methodologies. Develops project plans, status reports, communications, mitigation strategies, and process improvements within the PMO.
