Teams at NSF NCAR - The National Center for Atmospheric Research

Lead corporate and foundation fundraising by cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding institutional donors. Manage a portfolio of ~75 prospects, develop customized solicitation strategies for six- and seven-figure gifts, coordinate prospect research and CRM tracking (Salesforce), collaborate with internal scientific teams to align projects with funder priorities, and support proposal framing, events, and donor reporting. Hybrid role with domestic travel and event availability required.

Provide high-level administrative support to the NCAR Directorate including advanced calendar and travel coordination, meeting and event logistics, committee support, document creation and proofreading, financial/reporting tasks, inventory/property administration, website content updates, and front-desk/office maintenance in a collaborative team environment.

Work on modernizing and optimizing the CESM Earth system model: improve performance, reduce memory, enable hardware portability, analyze code quality, document findings, and prototype exploratory benchmarks and modernization strategies.
