Maintains, modernizes, and troubleshoots Python- and NCL-based workflows supporting the WRF weather model across HPC environments. Responsibilities include migrating legacy scripts, upgrading model initialization and versions, optimizing post-processing, monitoring operational reliability, maintaining alerting and web dashboards, documenting system architecture, and coordinating with partners. The role requires software development, scripting, Linux/Unix, Git, real-time operational systems, and HPC experience.

Manages federal award portfolios across contracts, cooperative agreements, and grants. Responsibilities include post-award financial administration, expense monitoring, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, proposal budget development, sponsor relations, compliance analysis, risk escalation, and financial metrics. The role ensures adherence to federal requirements, OMB Uniform Guidance, cost principles, and UCAR policies while supporting CPAESS leadership and documenting business processes.

Provides advanced administrative support for the Friends of the National Center program office. Responsibilities include event planning, meeting coordination, purchasing, budget and expense tracking, Salesforce donor data management, report and dashboard creation, WordPress website updates, donor and alumni correspondence, and conference representation. The role is hybrid, part-time, and requires attendance at two annual conferences.
