Provides peer recovery support and crisis stabilization for consumers experiencing mental health or substance-use crises. Responsibilities include advocacy, assessment, safety planning, case management, referrals, transportation, treatment and discharge planning, community outreach, documentation, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and emergency agencies. The role uses trauma-informed, recovery-oriented practices and personal recovery experience to help consumers develop wellness strategies and avoid hospitalization.

Investigates healthcare privacy concerns, conducts HIPAA risk assessments and EHR access audits, manages compliance hotline cases, tracks incidents, supports corrective action plans, and provides privacy guidance. The role also coordinates regulatory audits, develops training and policies, contributes to the compliance work plan, analyzes privacy data, and collaborates with departments to protect patient information and meet healthcare compliance requirements.

Assigns and reviews ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, CPT-4, and evaluation and management codes for outpatient encounters. Examines medical records, interprets clinical documentation, resolves NCCI and NCD/LCD claim edits, and supports reimbursement accuracy and productivity standards. Collaborates with patient accounting, registration, case management, and clinical teams. Requires healthcare coding certification and acute-care experience.
