Provide one-to-one behavioral support and skill instruction to students in public schools. Support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development while applying training in Applied Behavior Analysis, childhood trauma, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and children’s mental health. Work collaboratively in school-based settings and maintain adaptability, dependability, and enthusiasm.

Provides 1:1 behavioral support for students with social, emotional, and behavioral skill deficits. Conducts functional behavior assessments, develops intervention plans, summarizes data, adjusts programming, and supports school staff and families. Trains and supervises behavior interventionists through observation, meetings, and individual guidance. Builds relationships with schools, families, community partners, and outside providers while participating in ongoing BCBA supervision and professional development.

Provides front-office support for a counseling and support services organization by greeting clients, answering calls, processing registrations, maintaining electronic medical records, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, scanning documents, routing faxes, managing mail and supplies, and protecting confidential information.

Provides help desk support, troubleshooting, monitoring, auditing, and user training for the agency’s electronic medical record system. Ensures health information is accurate, accessible, organized, and compliant with state and federal requirements. Supports new employee orientation and delivers ongoing individual and small-group training while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Reviews and researches insurance information, maintains insurance records in the electronic medical record, verifies eligibility, supports Medicaid enrollment, assists with client statements, and audits billing compliance. The role also provides customer support, protects confidential information, manages multiple priorities, and works independently with treatment teams and clients.

Provides one-on-one behavioral support to students in public schools using prescribed Applied Behavior Analysis interventions. Collaborates with school teams, communicates effectively, adapts to student needs, and participates in training and professional development. Placement may occur throughout Franklin and Grand Isle counties.

Support and coordinate operations, care, and documentation for a residential program; train and coach staff; collaborate with leadership and agency supports; ensure safe, high-quality, therapeutic-focused services and contribute to program development and resident well-being.

Support daily operations and programming of a Therapeutic Community Residence, provide daytime direct support and skill-building for residents, coordinate staffing and resources, ensure Vermont DAIL compliance, collaborate with clinical and crisis teams, and maintain a safe, therapeutic living environment.

Provide case management and counseling to youth with emotional and behavioral disabilities: assess needs, create individualized care plans, deliver life-skills instruction, make community referrals, coordinate employment exploration and placements, and collaborate with partners to support youth transition and social functioning.

Provide diagnostic assessment, create treatment plans, and deliver individualized therapy for students in public schools. Coordinate with families and schools, perform crisis screening/intervention, and refer students to other NCSS programs. Full-time, 200-day role aligned to the school calendar with some summer responsibilities.

Provide intensive, individualized stabilization support to clients with acute mental health needs, including 1:1 skills coaching, family/parenting support, case management, care coordination, documentation, and team collaboration to help clients remain safely in their homes or transition from higher levels of care.

NCSS offers intentional, mentored internships across clinical services, applied behavior analysis, administrative/program support, and community-based services. Interns gain supervised, real-world experience aligned with their academic goals and program requirements; placements are matched to student background and capacity.

Provide in-community behavioral support for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism using Individual Support and Behavior Support Plans. Assist with skill-building activities, manage maladaptive behaviors, adjust environments, support communication, provide personal/medical care, and document progress. Work collaboratively as part of a therapeutic team.

Provide hands-on, trauma-informed support to children and adolescents in a short-term day stabilization program. Assist with emotional and behavioral regulation, de-escalation, engagement in therapeutic programming, individualized supports, and skill development while maintaining a safe, structured environment and collaborating with clinical staff.
