Performs diverse clerical duties including typing correspondence, greeting visitors, answering phones, scheduling, maintaining files and patient records, taking minutes, collecting payments, and ordering supplies.

Coordinates and monitors clinical research studies including participant recruitment, scheduling, data collection, specimen collection/processing/shipping, drug accountability, regulatory compliance (GCP), and liaison with investigators, sponsors, and external agencies. Performs protocol-related assessments (phlebotomy, ECGs, vitals) as needed and maintains accurate study records and reporting.

Performs and guides clinical laboratory tests in a specialty area: prepares and tests specimens, records and reports results, maintains equipment, conducts quality control, troubleshoots instruments and reagents, and follows infection control procedures.
